Oh god. That sounds like a ton of fun. Jealous! You need to incorporate the ferry into a challenge somehow. I don't know how exactly but since part of it will literally take place on the sea it's a must. Also, if something is happening for the return trip go through the lower mainland and be forced to take Hwy 7, the Lougheed right smack through the middle of Vancouver, Burnaby and Coquitlam. Preferably during rush hour(s) MrChips posted:
Yeah, or even 31 or whatever it's called and spend the night at Ainsworth Hot Springs. The Crowsnest route is a far better for sightseeing/having fun than the #1 so good choice there, but the Kootneys is gorgeous. Even if you go north just to make your way back south again. You might want to make it 2 days.

I've never been to the Nakusp springs but probably will go this year. I have been to Ainsworth and concur it is great. The best part was this sort of grotto cave hot spring that was warmer than the main pool and a little more private. This area is a little off the beaten path too so they are nowhere near as busy as Radium, Fairmont or Harrison.

Beaucoup Cuckoo posted:The Nakusp hot springs are definitely a test of the average person's car. I'm so surprised when I see the people who have made it up there. Halfway used to be really cool but I've heard it'd really not open to the public at all now. When I went it was definitely not being advertised but it seemed like people were generally cool with respectful visitors. Really? I thought it was a good road with a small hotel and serviced camping? Or is there maybe some other private water hole the locals use? Also for $200 that interior looks great. Exterior shots?

If you're looking for more people to join, maybe you could have been a little clearer in articulating that in the OP. I didn't really get the impression that you were actively soliciting other people to join, I thought it was more of a "hey, these are my bros and we're doing a rally for a bachelor party/thing. This is a thread about it" kind of thing. At least that's what I got out of it, my reading comprehension might not be the strongest.

Agreed. I actually deal with casters as well and take my advice that if you go with a "tire" style like that, get foam filled ones if they arent automatically. Nothing worse than having flats on your casters.

Just get brakes on one or two of the new casters and remove the unicorn breaking (AM I RITE??) system on the carts. What's the dia of the wheel and plate? Also, because of where I am, you might want to visit your resident junk store with the initials of P.A. - the might stock them...or something close... and save you the freight from me. I was out tonight and the cars were starting to come out for the street wheels weekend starting tomorrow. I was thinking of you guys

Those Grant GTs are decent wheels. I had one in the old 280ZX for years and it suited it fine. Not a wood rim mind you, but the size and style works with those 70s-80s Japanese cars. Canadian Tire used to stock tons of those.
