I also own and like these boots. Super comfortable especially for people with wider feet like me, they stay warm and dry enough even when in snow (esp with gaiters) and they hold us well. Trail running shoes are good for light and fast but these boots are better for heavier loads, snow, and other situations you might want more than a running shoe for.
