Sounds like fun, some of you guys are really good at this. I know just barely enough about photoshop animation to make simple ones: I might take another crack if there are any topics that could use some more coverage, or any advice to improve this one. e: Tried another one. With and without border. I took a stab at trying to get the triforce to shine but It was a bit too flashy, I like the subtlety of the waterfall.

I did see the old one (and was inspired by it) but I think the text is a bit ugly. I thought It would be fun to try a new version with the codec sprites. Too bad for me if people like the old one I guess.

I cut it down to 16 colors and turned the dithering down a bit, so the tail streak is slightly less smooth. More could be done to shrink it or reclaim a little quality, but this at least gets it down to 8KB and looks acceptable I think. Another random idea for Mario/Platformers:

Hah, I made this yesterday and I thought it turned out maybe a bit lousy so I was hesitant to post it, but I'm tickled by how similar our idea was so why not.  Also tried a little gradient on the Mario one, I think it's maybe a bit sharper:

Nothing suspicious here. I also noticed that the timing on the mario gif was wrong and it ended up more chunky than I had intended, this one's a little faster/smoother. No more tweaking on this one I think.
