I thought I would get sick of Darkness's gimmick, but it is still just as funny as the rest of the show.

This is more a reflection of myself rather than the show, since my brain mostly shuts off when watching something so ridiculous and goofy.

In summary, everything is good and fun, yay anime

Animation quality aside, the OP animation satire is absolutely incredible. Everything from the "group is running in this direction" to "random dance sequence" to "falling from the sky for no reason (with reason and conclusion now shown)" was incredible. I can't make enough GIFs to even try and show it all. 0% chance I ever skip this OP during the entire season.

Vague speculation: Lurk is one of those luck based skills that for most adventurers are downright useless, but is overpowered in Kazuma's hands because he has a high luck stat. I wonder if casinos exist in a world where someone's luck can be quantified? Would they ban him from entering based on it?

Tangent: Yes, in this world. Every major casino does this (notably in Las Vegas), but it's reactive. If you get lucky and keep winning, they give you comps like a free hotel room and stuff to get you off the floor, because it saves them more money than the risk of your luck streak continuing. Every casino has their own detection and monitoring algorithm for this because... it's their job. The quantification can be generalized as the number of standard deviations you are above the mean.

And I've heard stories of people getting preemptively banned from playing blackjack, but that's less because of luck and more because of card counting.
