I actively play 3 sims because I like different things about them depending on my mood. I never understood the die hard attitude people have about one simple or the other. I find every time a replace a piece of hardware what I play changes. What I'm saying is we're all crazy.

My first was Rad Racer. My first sim i played with a wheel was Asseto Corsa...and now I have really expensive hobby. Started with a g27 attached to my desk. Now using a thrustmaster tx, clubsport v3 pedals, th8a shifter, a dedicated racing seat, and I'm really close to buying 3 ultrawides. WHAT THE gently caress IS HAPPENING TO ME?! A couple years ago I gave zero shits about cars, now I have canvas prints of Monaco and the Nurburgring in my office, and this massive pile of sim gear... I use a motorcycle ram mount for my shifter. I use a playseat challenge right now, so it's just connected right to the frame. Those full race seat setups look appealing, but I really like my playseat setup right now. Also thinking about selling this house and don't want to kill myself taking apart a more complicated setup.

The V10s had semi automatics. But I don't recall anyone not actually shifting? Who knows. No big deal since I can shut it off.

The t300 has 1080 rotation. Tx has 900. t300 works on PS4, TX on Xbone. That's the only real difference.

I bought the GT 599 wheel for my TX. A few less buttons than the wheel it came with, but feels so much better.

Automobilista is great for F1 stuff too. Track selection isn't amazing, but the driving is incredible. It has a good selection of classic to modern F1 cars.
