I have to say, that's an interesting approach to currency.

Huh. How is in-combat health restoration anyway? Are you limited to patching up your armor?

Do enemies build up energy to use special moves too, or can they just unleash them at random?

Chokes McGee posted:Also I'm happy to report quality loot will not be a problem for this run Well, congratulations on propitiating the RNG. It's just waiting to pounce, you know.

Dang, that is some ridiculous luck. Are you sure that armor isn't laced with slow-acting curses or something?

I'm guessing you can't, like, craft or buy acid flasks.

Interesting that even enemies that can't hurt you can still disable you enough for their mates to get some real licks in.

His only regret is that he didn't get to chop enough things? Have we ever stopped to consider that, in fact, we may be the heroes?

Can you only pick up bonus puppet bits in these soul dungeons, or do they start showing up in the rest of the book now too?

I suppose it is useful to have a debuffer now that the enemy buffs are starting to come out. I imagine if buffs are SMT-useful it's also fairly easy to get them on any given party member.

Huh. I suppose it is in keeping with the spirit of the game to permanently destroy keys that aren't strictly needed for progression.

Random ridiculous weapon drops are as good a motivator for new party members as any.

Well, if the RNG can't be generous at least it can be funny.

We have mostly fought humans and ghosts of humans so far, haven't we? Wonder if the endgame is going to skew toward monsters geased or turned by the power of the prison.

Ah, right. Unintelligent beasts are also an option, as long as you tell everybody to steer clear of the room where you've kept it.

I do like the completely different second form. Really switches things up nicely.

Huh. So, uh, do these guys only want to live in dead metal? Or can we find them bodies in the dungeon proper?

So how many tiers are there above Obsidian? Or is that still kind of in "so far beyond us" territory?

Huh. When I see "elven chain" my first thought is not "oh, that's a weapon". Any other favored weapons with confusing names?

Is Psychic Assault pure percentage or is there a little extra on top? It seems like it'd lose its shine pretty quickly into the battle.

I like the bonus dungeon nature of the puppet. It's neat to see that develop.

I suppose if more and more people get stronger and stronger area skills, it makes a little bit of sense for enemy numbers to increase as well.

Man, that random encounter rate looks ridiculous for battles as simple as those are.
