Yea it was a hamfisted way of trying to say she had no actual theme or singular selling point. I think Sam said it more to insult both and then say she'd love to have them as president right now.

I would be shocked if they didn't make the attempt but a bunch of people who aren't going to have anywhere near the enthusiasm or fervor of Bernie/Trump supporters just isn't as much fun. I imagine if the election season hadn't been so full of crazy they would have aired something along those lines.
