I just posted my first CYOA: ROCK! MEGA FRANKENSTEIN  https://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3969259 It's an adventure where you and your band Mega Frankenstein tour the world solving mysteries and get into fights and then sometimes you have to form the Mega Monster to fight a giant abomination in the middle of your concert. Since it's my first time right now the band just has to solve one mystery.

The story is that you're a quantum leaping demon, who has just been awoken from a cryopod while a military leader of some sort is screaming at you. You have to figure out what the Humans are doing, Where the Humans Are, and then wait for more orders. I will include Keywords you can use for voting in case you can't think of something to input. The gimmick? The gimmick is simple, you have a spreadsheet and a form, at any point you can go into the spreadsheet or form and add a "thought" to the protagonist, this constant background chatter will influence his decisions, how he reacts to the world, and his internal dialogue. Is his train of thought just 3 people posting "pancake" over and over? Maybe. Let's see how that effects his psyche! Does he desperately want to kill an NPC but also kind of feels bad for him, but also has other conflicted emotions? You decide! If that sounds interesting to you, then go right ahead, and give it a whirl. All this week I plan to update at a pretty fast pace, then take a bit of time off and then go back to hyper posting. So now's a good time to get in. If any of this seems interesting to you, then go right ahead and post, add a thought, get involved. And as with all of my projects, this takes place in the same universe as my other two Quests, but as with all of my projects, you have NO obligation to read them to understand what's going on, and right now with all of the stories where they are, they're very loosely tied together outside of a timeline and some shared races / species. I've finished two, and am writing another two, I don't expect you to follow 5 threads to get the full picture here, but I've got little cookies in there if you want to go searching. A quick word about the art. Sometimes it's hard to get an idea down or a process down without toying with it a ton, and when I'm developing a new art style I never quite know when I'm finished. So this is going to have a lot of experimental art styles I'm playing with. If you're used to my more traditional style of flailing at art, this is going to probably disappoint.

You know how all those Aurora LPs seem to be really loved by people who love roleplaying and management? I decided to just skip the Aurora 4x part and start my own CYOA, where you're running a colony that is emerging from isolation in a weird, setting that's a mixture of some anime, some 'new' space opera, and some classic sci-fi. It's an escape vote, there's only 3 in the story total, and we've just hit our 2nd one. You're guiding subject #12-4 a tiny tumor with razor blades, who realizes she could be a lot more then that. I don't want too many spoilers of course, but if this is at all interesting you, then I really would like it if you checked it out. The art gets progressively better as I've been practicing a ton. It's a traditional quest, just with full illustrations, combining my two favorite passions art and writing. We've got cute girls    & Scary girls    There's even a monster or two! AND! AND! Ok, no and. it's mostly girls and monsters through the entirety of the thing. Mostly because I only want to draw and write stuff I'm gay for. Apologies in advance. But, if that's not a deal breaker, then please give it a look and see if you'd like what's there. I don't update often, but I put a lot of heart and soul into each one. Lab 619 has hit 50k words, and has been getting 6 - 12k words a month pretty consistently. If you bounced off Marie, you may want to start following again, We're currently following a new party member and learning a bit about their backstory, so there's no real commitment to jump on. It's kind of a soft reboot to help onboard people faster, a place past the roughest bits of art and learning phases (though there is still plenty more of that.)
