OP, seriously you only have a choice between lying further or giving up the job. Coming clean will simply not get you hired, period. Don't think that they will somehow understand, you're delusioned that this can have a different outcome. So choose between those first two because what you're imagining doesn't happen in this world, it's a fantasy.
