That looks absolutely delicious. I used to be one of those people that only eat meat and potatoes or meat and pasta or meat and rice at every meal, because school lunches and vegetarian "substitutes" (seriously, advertising tofu sausages as "tasting and feeling exactly like sausages" is idiotic, they taste NOTHING like meat and feel like liverwurst) had turned me sour on vegetarian food. I ate a lot of fruit but didn't care for meatless dishes. Luckily we moved to an area with dozens of awesome vegan and vegetarian joints, and I've rediscovered non-meat foods. I still eat meat, because meat is very tasty and good, but I make it a point to go meatless at least a few days of the week to enjoy tofu, seitan and other awesome vegetarian protein sources. |

Yeah, I usually prefer meat too, but tofu's awesome if you're on a budget, and there are tons of great recipes out there to give it some great flavor. You can get a 15oz block from Trader Joe's for like <$3, and it's a great source of protein.

I bought The Saga of Swamp Thing Book Two yesterday because I was drinking at a bar next to a funny paper shop, and it's way worse than the first book. At least I'm not hung over  I guess printed cartoons really are for children.

I noticed Eonwe's red text the other day and I was gonna draw a new pic and put "I'm glad of it" in nice cursive across the bottom. Still might, just to have one handy for next time someone gets mad about vidya games and Eonwe.

DrHolmesPhD posted:whatchoo got in there, tofu kale maybe some garlic It definitely changes the texture in a way that I really like, it makes it further but also kind of spongy, after freezing you can see the layers along the axis where it was originally pressed (tofu is made a lot like un-aged cheese) because the ice crystals push things apart I recommend thawing it, pressing the liquid out, then cutting and pan-frying in a thin layer of cooking oil with a few drops of sesame oil then drain the oil then toss them in a splash of soy sauce or aminos then adding them to your stir fry or w/e |

Then went out with my wife and a friend of hers to eat way too much sushi and Chinese food, and now I'm chilling at home not giving a gently caress about Finland having lost to Canada in hockey. |
