My non-compete is turbo hosed. It lasts for a year and I am actually legally obligated to report to my company who I'm working for after I leave. I made them kick a decent severance into the contract to even things out, but goddamn corporations suck. The funny thing is they're all concerned about me working in the same industry and I couldn't give a gently caress less. It's like telling a house painter they can't paint houses blue for a year. Uhhh ok, fine.

Its a city with no soul or identity and their sports teams suck or are hours away on a single traffic clogged highway in an even worse shithole than Phoenix. That said, there are some super pretty mountains and stuff. Grew up in Phoenix, this is spot-on. Used to go out and visit family from time to time. For a while I refused to go back after it went completely down the shitter, and then the rest of my family got out and I really have no reason to ever go back.
