I was going to wait to see who would be coming over before buying but if Shibata will be there so will I. seems that way. this is the exact wording: Dave Meltzer posted:Katsuyori Shibata and Kenny Omega are expected in for the next tour and PPV, but it’s not definite because of Visa issues. It would be Shibata’s first ROH tour.

ROH and PWG have a relationship now so as long as it doesn't conflict with any ROH dates he'll be on their shows

glad they're running the week after SummerSlam so NXT can't pre-empt them with a special (they probably still will)

sleepwalkers posted:I'm totally unfamiliar with ROH but bought tickets to the Dearborn WOTW show. I'm familiar with the NJPW guys on the tour, but are there any suggestions of some recent stuff to watch to familiarize myself with the ROH guys expected at that show? the PPV the night before should catch you up on the guys that'll be on the tour. the 14th Anniversary PPV and Final Battle would also be good to watch

the Observer says that the main event of the Dearborn show is reDRagon vs. Naito and Lethal, which is the coolest permutation of tag teams on the tour and my four sweet boys
|
# ¿ Apr 28, 2016 22:00 |

there's been a few matches announced for the Dearborn show next Monday: War Machine vs. Okada and Gedo, plus the Briscoes vs. the Motor City Machine Guns (which they're weirdly trying to call a first time ever match even though they've had that match in ROH twice) the Observer also said that reDRagon vs. Naito and Lethal would happen on the show, though that might get moved to a different spot

I'm biased because I'm going to it, but I think the Detroit card is the best of the four. they're all gonna be stellar shows though

Charles Gnarwin posted:The Addiction beating War Machine only makes sense because it happened a day after an insane war of a match. Even then, I don't like it. they also wrestled in a match earlier in the night against Okada and Gedo. and they only lost because Rowe got hit in the head with the belt twice (he kicked out of the first)

Not gimmick posting when I say that I genuinely think they would've been better off giving it to Tanahashi. he's the most over singles guy in the promotion's most over act, and elevating Kyle with an extremely well-written and personal feud will do wonders for Kyle even if Cole is on the way out
