I've been playing some old favorites, and man, do designers love tossing down a maze as a way to pad out a game. Doubly-so if there's some sort of teleport back to start or insta-death bullshit.

I'm fairly fond of all the terrible movie titles and word jokes, they add to the charm and show that to this kid, prior to being stuck in Evermore the most exciting things in his life were B-movies. I wish I could find the posts, I remember in the "Game Hoax" thread there was a discussion about the rumors around this game being very dark originally and changed near the end.

Still a classic game, and honestly, is the only one aside from Earthbound to feel very much like you're in a western city than a Japan copy of what the west is like. Thanks for the fun ride Leave!
