Is Jake McGee honestly that easy to get sixth round in this TE class? Can he like not block or something?

Probably the injury issues with him. Some folks hear people say the TE class is bad and think that means every available TE is terrible this year, which is weird but

This is an incredibly weak TE class and I'm not sure where you are coming from. I mean, there's some potential I guess

But nobody is a day 1 starter

Edit I mean McGee in the 6th is stupid but maybe he goes as early as 3. Likely 4.

There are only a few guys with potential in a very small group, but that doesn't mean they're all bad prospects. I would be surprised if Henry and Hooper weren't starters by the end of the season.

it's really nice that you can see the available players, it lets you kind of evaluate whether some of your preferred guys are still gonna be there when the pick comes around to you. it kind of helps you see why teams would take less than optimal trades because why not, i'm getting these extra picks and i get to take the guy i want anyway

Reminds me of the time I really wanted a particular MLB in a offline madden draft but the team in front of me needed one and wouldn't let me trade up. I gave them a mediocre mlb veteran on a trade for their worst corner. Suddenly they had 3 MLBs and 3 corners and I got my man.

I miss good madden franchise modes. :smith:

It took him until his redshirt senior year to be the guy that really ran the whole defense, so it might take him a while to learn whatever system he's in. Super disciplined and instinctive once he knew what he was about though.

I'M A GROWN ASS MAN!
I started with Tennessee and made a rule I had to take the first 3 trades offered to me in each round. Once I could pick I had to go with a position that was a 'need' at that point (FirstPick gives you 3) from the BPA list. Here is what I ended up with.

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 25 (PITT): Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana (B)
Round 2 Pick 19 (ATL): Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA (A)
Round 2 Pick 21 (HOU): Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame (A+)
Round 2 Pick 22 (WASH): Joshua Garnett, OG, Stanford (A-)
Round 2 Pick 27 (PITT): Xavien Howard, CB, Baylor (A-)
Round 3 Pick 14 (PHI): Dominique Alexander, ILB, Oklahoma (A)
Round 3 Pick 17 (BUF): T.J. Green, FS, Clemson (A)
Round 3 Pick 18 (ATL): Deion Jones, OLB, LSU (B)
Round 3 Pick 21 (WASH): Jordan Howard, RB, Indiana (A)
Round 3 Pick 26 (PITT): Shawn Oakman, DE, Baylor (A-)
Round 3 Pick 27 (SEA): Dak Prescott, QB, Mississippi State (B)
Round 4 Pick 22 (WASH): Miles Killebrew, SS, Southern Utah (A+)
Round 4 Pick 23 (MINN): Bryce Williams, TE, East Carolina (B-)
Round 4 Pick 26 (SEA): Glenn Gronkowski, FB, Kansas State (A+)
Round 5 Pick 5 (DEN): Tom Hackett, P, Utah (A)
Round 5 Pick 7 (JAX): Graham Glasgow, OG, Michigan (A-)
Round 5 Pick 21 (MINN): Willie Henry, DT, Michigan (B)
Round 5 Pick 22 (CINN): Malcolm Mitchell, WR, Georgia (A+)
Round 5 Pick 25 (PHI): Briean Boddy-Calhoun, CB, Minnesota (A)
Round 6 Pick 5 (MINN): Aziz Shittu, DE, Stanford (B)
Round 6 Pick 13 (PHI): Alex Lewis, OT, Nebraska (B-)
Round 6 Pick 16 (DET): Ka'imi Fairbairn, K, UCLA (B)
Round 6 Pick 20 (HOU): Adam Gotsis, DT/DE, Georgia Tech (B+)
Round 6 Pick 25 (G.B.): Victor Ochi, OLB, Stony Brook (B+)
Round 6 Pick 27 (DET): Kevin Hogan, QB, Stanford (B-)
Round 6 Pick 30 (ARI): Antonio Morrison, ILB, Florida (D)
Round 6 Pick 31 (CHI): Mike Matthews, C, Texas A&M (C-)

I'm fine with such a draft. Maybe should have restructured to get a WR earlier but I'd like a stronger O-Line with RG3 to protect him and give Zeke chances to run and have Hue develop Cardale and see what happens. If Josh Gordon comes back and with Barnidge maybe we'd have something going on the offense side of the ball and improve our D a bit. I didn't draft a CB cause hoping Ifo comes back well.

I did one lol draft where I snagged 6 solidly first-round selections over the Packers' first four rounds (two comps at the end of the 4th) using some Kyle Crabbs' Scouting rankings where he had Ragland down at like #160 and Jarran Reed even further down than that.

Managed one today where DeForest Buckner was available at 27.
