We worked really hard to put serious limits on them in WA state and they basically managed to weasel out of some of the regulations recently via political donations. It used to be in Seattle that there was a payday loan place every other block on main streets. Now there's like 6 in the whole city that I can think of. The overall affect of shutting those assholes down has been very positive.
