can someone refresh my memory. Didnt the GOP try to deal with trump by making allowing him into the primary provided he agreed to not run independent, out of fear that would repeat the whole perot bush clinton poo poo storm of the 90's. Then because all their candidates are week, rent seeking shills, who only wanted their 5 minutes to hawk their book. They never really started spending the resources to slam trump since he was destined to flame out or let the other campaigns spend the money. Thus leading to what we have now. A honest to god onion article come to life?
