Day 29: Dragon Head  i want to finish my mice but i know i won't before the end of march, i've been making dragon heads from 1 liter bottles for a sculpture project for work so i've been too busy but holy poo poo the art in this thread has been beautiful. i love that people like shmarson just appeared and posted stuff like this: schmarson posted:

Is it normal to feel that everyone else draws better and cooler things? I just doodle weird designs mostly, y'all got some good ideas. Is this thread coming back 'round again? I can never focus on a style/look/anything, so I just blast music and let my hand do its thing. A style is emerging.      Hope it's alright if I contribute late. |

of course it's ok to contribute late. i like your stuff i spent the better part of the afternoon shopping for prom shoes with an indecisive 16 year old girl so i have shoes on the brain. i'm also frustrated that i have trouble with basic drawing concepts like proportion and shape so i tortured myself over a drawing of a high heeled shoe for a while

 ugh this is just lovely scribbles, but was wondering if anyone could draw their interpretation of that weird creature I drew on crazy things head. I'm trying to think of how to draw it, I got this half-idea of a creepy weird pudgy bird/death mask...thing. just some creepy evil spirit. pens ran outta ink, but I think I could turn those line designs into something neat, if I made an entire page of them.  mostly just testing some drawing techniques, but maybe it's a little funny. feels like I should be drawing better than a 13 year old, but, I didn't draw then so I guess I gotta go through this phase.hope it makes people feel better about their nice clean lines. I'm slowly reigning things in, I just think about too much. really need to think simpler, but then I just draw weird line designs... maybe that's a sign :v did some more. I am learning a little, here and there. all I have left, is crayons.         think my hands gonna fall off tomorrow.
