Many people will argue what exactly Socialism is. However, the most common definition is workers owning the means of production. The fact that the citizens as a whole control much of the economy as it s the citizens as a whole that know what's best for them. There are a variety of ways people believe this could be achieved from cooperatives, to nationalizations, to other solutions as well.
