Excuse me, but the hardcore stash is quite welcome over here. When I die, it's nice having all those crafting mats to upgrade the gear of my new guy. As well, if I lost all my perandus coins on death, from my inventory, I'd be super pissed. Let me put it this way... Levels mean NOTHING in hardcore, it's all about the gear.

When it comes right down to it, collecting virtual items is pretty meaningless and the excitement of hardcore reinforces the enjoyment of the game for enjoyments sake and not as a hoarding simulation. (Used to have an item hoarding problem...)

Well too loving bad, here it is: Diablo: Hellfire Hellfire Installer - It's abandonware, don't worry. 100-102 patch 102a4 patch IPX wrapper to make multiplayer work Animation fix for Bard/Barb and bow users Instructions: Install Hellfire Copy contents of 100-102 patch into the Diablo - Hellfire folder, accepting any overwrite of files Copy contents of 102a4 patch into the Diablo - Hellfire folder Copy the contents of IPX wrapper into the Diablo - Hellfire folder, and run the correct directplay-win file, 64 or 32 bit Use loader.exe in Admin Mode to run the game If you have rainbow colors, use the appropriate colorfix app, 32 or 64 bit If you want to use the animation fix, just copy that over as well Get hamachi so you can do LAN IPX mode.
