Dammit I wanna mainline this LP, I wanna hook a Phoenix Wright LP IV directly into my eyeball. I forgot how addicting this can get.

Hasn't it been 3 days since the murder? Mia is actually Jesus.

Maya should look like some Exorcist poo poo is going on. No one in the court will notice that all of Maya's limbs are bent the wrong way and she's puking blasphemies while clinging to the rafters.

Thinker statue-clock thing, Thinker statue-clock thing again but with the clock parts removed, samurai spear. I'm betting the 4th murder weapon will be a feather duster and the 5th will be Killerman's anime laser beam.

Why is the running motif of this game unusual clocks?Added Space posted:Either that or the "keep off the grass" laws are so draconian noone dares to even think of violating them. They do treat the woods as literally impenetrable, and it's weird. Even something as simple as Edgeworth saying "there's no way anyone wielding the samurai spear could've gotten through the dense trees" would've worked, but instead no one mentions how much outdoors there is between the parts of the studio.

: What if the attacker came out of the woods and climbed over the hedges? : Couldn't have. There's invisible walls all around the trees. : Well, what if the attacker came in by going over the walls around the sets? : There are invisible walls there, too. In case any employees try to go out of bounds by climbing crates or double-jumping. : What about the- : Invisible walls. Every possible way in or out but through the front gate is blocked off by invisible walls. And the only person who came through the front gate was Will Powers. : And he certainly didn't noclip in! : Mr. Wright, the scourge of invisible walls is well known to the court. Why, I can't mow my lawn for the walls keeping me on the driveway! : There's a doghouse in my yard. Do I own a dog? Why can't I look at it?

Most of Redd White's testimonies were basically "You mentioned this thing you could only know if you were the murderer!" "Oh hold on I remembered incorrectly! Thanks for jarring my memory! Now let me revise my testimony."

Hobgoblin2099 posted:The best part of Vasquez's goons is that they're literally part of the scenery. Given that they have no lines, I'm inclined to believe that she just put up a movie studio prop while Phoenix and Maya weren't looking and tried to threaten them with it. So they won't be put on the witness stand? All four at the same time? Lame-rear end. 0/10 do not buy this garbage game.

Duct tape fixes everything, so that can't be why it's an invalid weapon.

The best way is to use a wooden mallet, then burn the mallet, removing the crucial piece of evidence Phoenix needs in day 1 during the 2nd testimony.

Phoenix pointing that out will be less "well what about this critical inconsistency!" and more "von Karma please let me speak I found this thing oh god let me do something." The von Karma will wag his finger, call Phoenix an idiot, order a guilty verdict, and case 5 is the appeals court vs. Payne, who has trained in 50 times earth's gravity to reach super lawyer 2. This is my fanfic please rate and review.

Why is the time so vague? Think Von Karma got it like that on purpose? Edgeworth did something similar with Mia's autopsy, after all.

Dr. Buttass posted:Plus, this is Japanifornia, where the only way to actually be declared innocent of a crime is for someone else to be fingered as the perpetrator. So I take it Phoenix won't get the defendant cleared due to the prosecution filing the incorrect charges or something. And the words "justifiable homicide" will never pass anyone's lips. I have to wonder if the Prohibition-era bootlegger George Remus inspired the common view of the insanity defense, since he got only eight months for chasing and gunning down his ex-wife in broad daylight. Jury only deliberated for 19 minutes, and said the light verdict was a Christmas present.

The case that had Gregory there at court that day, that is. Gregory lost and von Karma won. I don't think von Karma had anything to do with the events that day, just that he was prosecuting the resulting case as well.
