I'm more baffled by Phoenix still carrying the bullet around. Surely that would have been returned to the evidence locker or handed off to the prosecutor of von Karma's trial? Rise from the Ashes is pretty great. The conclusion to the first day of the trial is one of my favorite moments in the series.
