I can't believe we won that game. And that Mike Magee still has his magic powers of stealth and making defenses forget he exists.

Starter Injury list: Kennedy, Johnny Two Saints, Gerrard, Van Damme.

Remember when LA traded Mike Magee away and they tried to pretend it was what everyone wanted?

Is the Chicago Fire really that bad, or was this game against Houston just an aberration?

(FIRE BAD)

Chicago is pretty bad, but are you referring to tonight's game between the Houston Dynamo and FC Dallas?

EDIT: You can't really say much this early, but this is definitely a different synergy so far. This is Owen Coyle's team and he's made wholesale changes over the squad he inherited last year. This team has a much speedier attack and while it still has problems on defense, Andrew Wenger has two goals and two assists after two games. Tonight, four different Dynamo players scored goals (aside from Owen Goal) and the team has 8 goals in 180 minutes of play. Whatever it is, I like it and I hope it lasts.

He was pretty solid the week before as well with a goal and great work on both ends of the field.

When I hear about an MLS team in San Antonio, all I hear is "three hour road trip" and that's enough for me.

Actually, they are chicharrónes. I don't care for pork belly myself, but a respectable joint like Pappas wouldn't pull a gimmick like Cheetos on a BBQ sandwich.

So the Dynamo lost 0-1 last week to Vancouver. They should have played better and scored a goal.

BUT...

Masato Kudo went down in the box earning Vancouver a PK that led to the lone goal of the game. This week Masato Kudo got a suspension from the disciplinary committee for simulation on the same play. He dove. They suspended him for it. I guess that's a good thing, but it doesn't bring that point back for Houston :/

Last weekend, there was a nasty 100 mile trail race outside of San Diego. 32,000' of elevation gain and a very exposed course. I was checking the results because one of my favorite runners finished 4th and won the masters division (over 40).

Check out who won

And check out who finished 9th.
