I never enjoyed PCars, I loved the looks and the sounds but it just felt like hard work at every stage

I just play Dirt Rally on the default controller settings but I hear there's ways to make them work better.

Would PCars GOTY Edition be worth it? yeah, it has all of the dlc in it, so like 50 bux worth of really good DLC. i dont know much about assetto corsa, apparently its more skewed towards road cars than race cars though. to be honest its really down to personal preference which one has better driving feel. but project cars is known for having snap oversteer so its hard to slide a car in it and very easy to lose it in a corner and apparently assetto corsa is more lenient in that respect

Been playing lots of hitman but must get serious about Dirt Rally again. I'm lukewarm on the whole RallyCross part. Races are too short and I feel the AI is very strong compared to Rally/Hillclimb

Forza Apex beta is cool, its gorgeous, fun & it has some amazing tech like a setting that keeps you at 60 fps and dials graphic settings up or down on the fly to keep that. The racing itself feels great, if you use an xbox controller it has impulse trigger support which is invaluable if you race with all the assists off. Its free so the only reason i wouldnt reccomend it so far is that the windows store is a loving turd

because its free and polished and fun? also you can play it a lot more arcadey than other sims didnt know that about driving wheels though thats dumb. theres only a few races in it right now anyway, it seems like an "early access" sort of thing.

i finally started dirt rally last night , its really good. im uploading a video of one of my first attemps in the alpine, its of a 3:31 in one of the greek stages, the one with a lot of hairpins in it.
