You don't gotta be in the royal family to be comparatively well-off as a Saudi. I know someone from KSA who comes from the modest background of having a family complex that's like a small office building in size including personal elevators and chauffeurs, and as far as I know there's no oil money there, they just happen to have been living on and making money in the same plot of land for 1000 years. Obviously being from the poor side of Drivebyville USA I like being regaled by stories of that opulence.
