I'd say don't use the instinct if you think it breaks the game but there isn't a key hole look so you pretty much need it unless you want to risk every door opening. Though even then I believe the mini map displays if there is someone there that can catch you.

Larry Parish: for Q1, I'm going to continue the tried and true strategy of being a whitenoise human being that nobody cares about and everyone more or less scrolls past. But in Q2, I'll transition gradually into being a tryhard edgy retard that nobody likes and who only gets quoted when he tries to stir up poo poo. By Q3 I should be universally unwelcome with terminal brain AIDs, and by Q4 I'll be a badgame regular! whoopsie, i need to be changed again

Yeah there's no huge improvement or change in design quality between console and PC and 360 is cosmetic stuff (like bullet holes)

okay, thats basically what i was curious about. i'll grab the ps2 version then, its definitely the console i use more, so that'll work better. looking forward to getting into the series, it always seemed cool.

I have a new graphics card so playing the new Hitman would be sweet, it's on my list for next month's gaming budget, but for those like me lacking in Hitman experience I'm gonna follow this thread's advice and buy Blood Money which is now on :homebrew:SALE:homebrew: at Humble Bundle for spare change:

What's cool is that you can bang out a mission in 5 mins with some crude and obvious ploy but also if you have the time eek things out over a long period of time and watch your machinations unfold. Most excellent

I only played thru the tutorial missions but this seems like a good Hitman, the only thing that worries me is the focus on bigger levels means there won't be cool compact levels like the birthday one in Blood Money where it seems like there's no options but the more you look the more the various systems reveal your options for brutally owning/murdering a father trying to start his life again.

They have the flexibility to do something like that with the challenges and mini missions I guess. Would be good

I mean, even if you turn off everything (which I think you definitely should) Hitman isn't so much about like, just doing the assassination so much as doing the coolest assassination.
