If you choose "Random (Basic Pokemon with 2 evolutions) it will always give you Pokemon who are unevolved but have 2 more forms -- like Oddish/Gloom/Vileplume or Pidgey/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot. If you choose "Random (completely)" you could get anything from Kadabra to Magby to a friggin' Ho-oh.

Man I can't imagine doing randomized typing, why would you do that to yourself  e: like seriously, if you do randomized typing + moveset + ability then the pokemon literally have nothing in common with themselves except appearance and that's absolutely nuts to me
