About to go to Iceland. Our trips is pretty well planned out, but have a few questions. 1. What's the deal with Vatnajökull national park? It's sort of hard to parse from the guidebook and the main website. It seems to have two distinct areas. One in the Southeast called Skaftafell, and one in the North called Jökulsárgljúfur. Are these the same park? Can they be accessed by the same entrance? Is it possible to do hikes in both parts in one day? Anyone have general recommendations about this national park? 2. One of my friends has got it in their head that they really want to see the Vestmanneyjar Islands. Is there anything to do there?
