That knight is like the brick trolls from Bloodborne in that their only purpose seems to be parry practice.

Hahaha so I tried using a Stained page at one of my Sanctuarys hahahaha everyone in the room gets really pissed off, then you have to face a gauntlet of tougher enemies. Any Sanctuary that was part of that Creed will have pissed off enemies in it, but you get an Engulfed heart for surviving the gauntlet and a Bloody Writ. I don't know what those things do yet.
