I've never bought an indie game before & I was really hesitant but I just got this and it's really really fun. It's a shameless ripoff of the good parts of souls but it's done really well and the music is great. Really enjoying it. Who else is playing this game

If you're gonna take any inspiration from Souls, it should be that original ideas and fresh / deep gameplay can still succeed in modern gaming. That its okay to let a player learn through failure and that accomplishments feel better when they're actually earned. Copying anything so directly means that at best you're coming in 2nd place, so what's the point?
