lordernie if you're getting a new kind of animal have you considered something more exotic like alpacas, emus or ostriches any excess with cows would have to be either thrown out or sold for low prices on the local market (since cattle production is common) while selling the excess of a less common animal would fetch a higher price drawback to this would be that it's harder to find veterinary help that'd know what to do with an emu, or specialized handling equipment
