Chat was great. We spent the first 15 minutes waiting for pubbies to react to crowding and they didn't we then started to make cone puns in world chat. This confused pubbies and was great. Eventually pubbies started to side with our insanity which is when we dropped it and let them wonder why it suddenly died left confused. Waiting for the pinecone god to return.

we're 1/4th the player base. They only thing pubbies have on us is time. They can only have so much stockpiled. With their levels they can gather faster and produce faster per person sure, but it's only a matter of time before we will out preform them.

Grumpy just pissed a bunch of old guard off. He revamped cooking entirely. http://amar.bornofsnails.net/man/skills/cooking#enhancements All food will now be generic -Timer -Min Timer instead of skill specific in short Cherries and pie crust are critical to -timer food. All old food can no longer be produced on the 30th. This is going to simplify things, for us as we don't have deep production chains this is a great thing. This makes things easier for us to make and keep in stock.

Always do magic as well, since buffs are great and limited by mana which regenerates slowly. You may have to get someone to get you tools and other equipment as needed but full grinding that out yourself takes forever. Only doing a crafting skill would be hard, but generating resources it's very easy to just get the tools you need from the guild and keep on trucking. You aren't leeching your getting us XP and materials. Take whatever you need from storage don't forget to get yourself a set of blue clothing for -12 to your timer.

So I can extend my farming and gathering Autism from WoW into his afk browser game and will focus on gathering, wood cutting, fishing and hiking I think. I am glad when others focus on prodiction, I am another Goon Peon then that collects the raw stuff.

That would be game changing. Having themed days would be "a thing" it would promote people having multiple skills. Pubbies might follow our skill trains but that's okay we have more players so even more XP for us!

XP spreadsheet (fishing/speed/gathering/magic/mining/woodcutting/alchemy)  I made a sheet that you just paste your skill XP into and it will tell you how much XP/hr you will get I used all publicly posted base timers, If you have some more please help me with that, you can get it by filling in your gear minus timer, and your level and then playing with the base timer until the actual timer is correct (give me the base timer so I can have it next update) I want this to be as good as we can get it, so please give actual feedback, especially how useful it would be to actually finish off the crafting side since I'm not if that is more a supply issue than figuring out what to sit down and grind.

Beta UI just got an overhaul, takes a bit to get used to but I think overall it gives you more information quicker. Buttons look a little Fisher Price, but hey it works.  Spell casting UI is a very good UI

Yeah it's completely unrealistic for goons to pay attention or even post about what they are clearing, and I'm serious. We joined this game mostly from "idle games" thread. We want to just lazily play it and have a small commitment to some greater good. It scratches that MMO itch without being a massive drama filled time sink. I mean there is pubbie drama if you want to enjoy that but the guild is pretty drama free. I mean we have a list for who gets the first pink Windfury, but like that's going to happen.

We're going to help keep new players instead of the previous average of oh almost never because you couldn't chat until level 2. I remember mentioning it in chat and Grumpy said "good point! I'll remove it" immediately followed by pubbies clearly responding to me going no that's stupid and Grumpy will never do that.

XP time to Level Google Doc v0.6.0 I updated the sheet so you can copy and paste XP because that changed in the new beta UI. New method uses the manual, so you don't need to use the beta UI anymore! I also Added Tailoring for everything that isn't an armor craft. Armor crafting under 30 is added (well I don't have base timer information). I know people are using this sheet but I don't get much feedback, so if you want it to work better I could use any base timers you have updated in your local copies. I'm also open additional functionality requests. One thing I think I'm going to need is support for timers per island or equipment sets (spear fishing vs rod fishing) this could get complicated and how I would need to break down the sets will vary by skill most likely so I'll need feedback from users.

Basically unless you are gathering extensions do nothing for you. You can share them out, if people need extra, but I don't think we're lacking on them enough that you need to just make a ton. I haven't made a single one, it's not really needed since you can have 50 houses per town with several extensions each and you still need to do actions to collect the stuff. Mid level fishing also uses them, but we have some guild ones that can be shared out of crabs and lobsters if you go that route.
