I briefly played one of the ps2 fighting games with one childhood friend (before i read and loved the manga so all the characters made no sense) and have fond memories of it, but i gotta tell you OP, I've never been able to find a DBZ game to get into after it because there are so many and I'm paralyzed by game overchoice. I need to find the best ones. The optimal DBZ experience. So Super Saiya Densetsu is the good SNES one, what's my best option for the ps2 fighting games? Or any of the fighting ones?

if youre like, emulating ps2 i think budokai tenkaichi 3 is p much the best dbz game on that system. visuals aside the ps3 games made very minor improvements to gameplay, 3 still p much holds up as for the game im talking about in the OP, it has neat oddities and stuff like what goat mentioned but its not a very good game. brutally hard and grindy, very heavy rng elements that can make fights a breeze or almost impossible depending on the cards that roll/how the enemies behave. it was just interesting to me how a lot of ppl somehow knew about it and leapt through hoops of fire to play it
