Still the best dad, with the best dad stories to share. (If you guys want, I'll actually get off my rear end and transcribe my posts from the old Cute&Uplifting thread into a 'Dad Stories' thread)

When I got him, he was stiff and sore and barely leaving his box. After a week of loving and pettes and good food, he's now chirping, jumping up on couches to cuddle, and soaking up sunbeams in windowsills.

That's a goddamn adorable cat, you're a great person, and goddamn, those eyes are impressive.

My two fuzzferbrains when they were adorable, instead of just assholes. I love them dearly, and I'm pleased to admit that Smokey is still pootling along, though she occasionally trips over her own feet.

This is a Medical story, but it's one that is making headlines; An Ottawa-based research team has recieved unprecedented success with a high-risk program to treat Aggressive Multiple Sclerosis, which was published in the medical Journal, The Lancet.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/programs/ontariotoday/ottawa-ms-treatment-yields-impressive-results-1.3629226 Audio transcript of the news report and interview with two of the subjects and one of the doctors, as well as call-in from listeners.

http://www.theguardian.com/society/2016/jun/09/it-was-really-the-last-option-one-womans-multiple-sclerosis-recovery And The Guardian's article on one of the people in the experiment.

Edit: http://www.theguardian.com/society/2016/jun/09/stem-cell-therapy-gives-hope-to-ms-patients this link has a longer description of the procedure and study, which is interesting.

I know a dog named Loki. He is a very good dog, and the only dog I actually like.

So, I guess he's Lo-Key?
