long before Sailor Moon, there was a magical girl anime that was very successful and also apparently very cursed called Minky Momo. it did some...things, that shows of the time didn't really do(like straight up kill the protagonist with a loving truck when the show's toy company bailed on the animation studio suddenly) and it's something I've literally never heard about besides the name until I watched this video. Dorohedoro is one of my favorite fictional settings ever. It's an insanely run-down modern world with magic and absolutely caked with filth and degradation everywhere, with absurd and yet somehow relatively subdued character designs. For a long time I was convinced it could never properly be adapted into anime form because seriously, the level of filth and grotesque detail on absolutely everything seemed destined to doom any anime project. Also, well, it's gory as gently caress. One of the most violent and violently detailed things I've ever read, in a world where you can just heal anything including decapitations and dismemberment with magic. But an anime trailer for an adaptation of it just dropped, and boy, it looks fantastic. Lol this is cool too but, no that isn't it. It was much more amateur than that. I've spent the last hour searching through youtube results that have the word "moog" in it and I think its something that just doesn't exist anymore. Gone like the snows of yesteryear  . It's unfortunate because his songs really weren't that bad either.

I found a great music-oriented channel today. This guy only has 20 subscribers and two videos but he seems to put a good amount of effort into his stuff and he's just starting out.
