Here's a channel I've been hooked on for a few weeks now: Braille Skateboarding. They're already pretty big and have a large back-catalog of videos to watch. Their best stuff is the You Make It We Skate It/Stupid Skate/Skate Everything series, where they make gimmick skateboards (things like putting rollerblades on a board, using a glass board, or putting wheels on a snowboard). There's a pretty good compilation they put together recently that is a pretty good introduction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xE7inDtH5MA

There was a trailer uploaded about ten years ago for the movie First Sunday, but the studio accidentally left all the music out. It made the comedy seem really awkward. Someone in GBS made a thread about it back then, but I couldn't find any mention of it last time I looked.

Is there a way to stop youtube from autoplaying playlists specifically in fullscreen? There used to be a toggle, but it didn't stop fullscreen videos from playing the next one. Then they took the toggle away and I installed "nextvid stopper" for Chrome, but it also does not stop the autoplay in fullscreen. Why am I forced to watch videos in windowed mode at night, lest I leave videos playing for hours on end while I sleep?

Sue Eastside posted:Once upon a time behind a bar, I devised a way of using an obsolete flatbed scanner to digitize home movie films. After many flops and failures, here's my latest: Where do you get your home film reels? Random ebay lots? I got a new-old-stock 8mm projector a few years back that works great, but I have only found one film for it since then. You really should make a video detailing your mechanical and software setup because it looks pretty sweet. wa27 fucked around with this message at 19:25 on Apr 3, 2018 |

I found a great music-oriented channel today. This guy only has 20 subscribers and two videos but he seems to put a good amount of effort into his stuff and he's just starting out. So far he has one video on Devo's Working in a Coal Mine and a 40-minute dissection of The Pina Colada Song (that's tightly edited and not rambling). https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0lMVk9iShUpybehUGYDchQ/featured He sounds like Randall from Clerks though, so try not to think about that. wa27 fucked around with this message at 07:00 on Feb 25, 2020 |
