I was about to say, wow they managed to not screw up a job, but there they are the lovable crew at work solid opening episode, definitely had more spy poo poo than the first four seasons did and was way cool

Italian for Fuel Pump.

I hope Archer fixing his car only to have something else fail and have to ride in the van or something else is an ongoing joke.

I love that Archer went all Hot Rod on that hill. Twice. All in all, a pretty good episode. Could have been funnier, but at least everything kept moving along nicely.

I didn't catch one quip - did they refer to Lana's goggles with "a lovely wii"?

They were taking about her hair, calling it a lovely weave.

I generally despise the "spoil the end then rewind to the beginning" TV trope but even with that in mind that was a really fun episode. Archer is always at its best when Sterling is being himself under a hail of bullets.

Or the season finale will be a normal day in their freshly rebuilt New York office, fully paid for even though no one is really sure where the cash came from. Archer's reading a newspaper or something, sees a headline about a new detective agency having all its members sequentially assassinated over the past six months but the case has no suspects. As Archer considers this, Krieger walks past with a handful of money, humming to himself and counting it. This is why there's no baby in LA, Krieger didn't clone it due to being unnecessary for his evil money making scheme.

I thought it was kind of a slow start to the season but promising. Didn't have the rapid-fire jokes I love the show for but I'm confident those will come, took a few episodes before a classic Archer last year too. Parts I laughed hardest at were probably Archer's absurdly long fall off the cliff and then him laughing way too long at Cyril and then coming back with "....NINE" What show(s) are they paying homage to with the silhouettes of the characters at the start of each commercial break?
