Although I like the slower pace, I'm sad that it's going to move slow because that means less Alien Queen this season  Oh well. That wonderful character card in the opening (btw. I really do like the op and ed for some reason) will suffice. For now.

I think it's fairly heartening that it's only a 12 ep run, and I really hope they stick with a seasonal format - like a season a year or something. We still get the Hero anime, with none of the filler! Edit: beaten by the Waffleman.

Yes, I remember that. It does not decrease my desire for a Mt. Lady spinoff. (E:I don't quite remember all of the details, my memory is really, really lovely. But I do remember her being a fame/money-crazed lady who reluctantly uses her Mountainous Posterior to get higher on the charts. She still does good though.) Except when someone's poor behavior is excused because society gives them a pass, it makes it exponentially worse. Sure, it takes an initial act of assholery, but then you get to keep doing worse and worse things because who cares. Sure, katsuki's a terrible person, but he's been left unchecked for too long. It takes a long time to break bad habits and change a person.

Mineta is one of the best characters. He has no idea why or how he's there, but he'll lick the honey while he hangs on. Also his power is actually a lot more useful than he thinks.

While I kinda agree with Roland in that the author's omake notes about her make it clear that he made her character and outfit almost explicitly to have a character with little clothing - which makes it kinda creepy, I also do think that her character is pretty great and that her costume is fitting for her quirk, which is a pretty inventive and interesting quirk. And a little bit of not-so-servicey fanservice isn't such a terrible thing in the end. Also her poofy ponytail is awesome. E: half-finished thoughts because I'm tired. It's refreshing to have a show that understands that action sequences can actually convey information, and, in the best action series, are the chief way of communicating ideas to the audience, rather than just having everyone sort of blur together with super-quick reflexes and strength in generic fight scenes. I really wish we had a longer season. Yeah, the side characters are pretty much the best part.

Speaking of, for some reason Tsuyu seems to move a lot less ... gracefully in the anime than I imagined her. I mean, yes, she's a foggy, but it just seems a bit strange. Maybe when we see more of her it'll be better to me.
