I would always beat Midir on each ng+, but it would take me a lot of tries. It's because I can never predict how to avoid the death laser. I tried all kinds of timing with my rolls, but I could never figure it out. It was just random luck each time.

Dark souls 2 has my favorite area in all the games, Heide's Tower of Flame. a sunken marble kingdom, overtaken by the ocean. Really tranquil place. I'd definitely want to spend my eternal undeath there.
