Just watched all three episodes of this show. It is very cute and funny. Echizen and Miyano are a very cute couple. Tanaka and Ohta are a good couple too. I laughed a lot during this show and it is very cute and good and now I am going to follow it and try to watch the new episodes when they come out. Edit: But yeah I do really like that they had Miyano openly admit her affection for Echizen, have it reciprocated, and have the reaction be, "Oh, that's who she likes? Huh, okay then." I read this thread before watching the show but I wasn't expecting them to do that much, that was really nice. Roland Jones fucked around with this message at 19:04 on Apr 24, 2016 |

Gyre posted:Honestly, placing the chapters in that order shows how little they take the thing between Miyano and Echizen seriously. I know Japan has huge issues with acknowledging lesbianism as anything other than a phase or a joke, but even when you know it it still stings when it's ignored like that. It sucked all the enjoyment out of what would have otherwise been a really funny part to me. Yeah, that was incredibly disappointing; while originally I thought that her acting like that despite the thing with Miyano was her thinking like that, learning that it was them taking the chapters out of order didn't make it much better. I laughed at things in it but the entire time it felt a bit bitter, and afterwards it's mostly disappointing.

Oh, that reminds me, did they do anything more with the Echizen-Miyano thing? I need to catch up on like half the series (I stopped watching the episode where it turns out Tanaka's sister is into him or something), but while Miyano's confession and such were really cute, Echizen subsequently completely forgetting about it and taking the "confession" from Tanaka and Ohta much more seriously, even if it was apparently because they adapted manga chapters out of order, was rather disheartening.
