Friend who does nothing but talk about how much she loves books and reading and Stephen King just got a Dark Tower (her favorite book) quote for her first tattoo. Much like literally everyone else on the internet, she got the quote wrong.

I posted this screenshot before she flipped out in the comments and messaged me to tell me that I ruined her life.

Yes, I'm an idiot for caring at all about any of this. Don't worry I know.

She sounds insufferable. There's so much cool or at least more interesting imagery you could use and have a banner wrapped around it with the quote, but no, "this story means so much to me! So much, in fact, I can't think of anything more inspired than a bit of plain text."

HoL is a rad read but I could never get into any of his other stuff, it's a little too, I guess, narrative based for me. I have an autographed copy of the fifty yer sword I won from a FB contest of all things(the old copies that are worth a lot, too). He also sent me a hand painted xmas card a few months later, which was super :3:

. I didn't get too far into his new series, the familiar, but fwiw to those who liked HoL, it seemed to be in a similar style.

As someone mentioned, search for (your city) roller derby. That being said, there's a lot of bad roller derby tattoos, just like with every other thing people are enthusiastic about.

This one from a thumbnail I thought was just a photo of rink rash(where you slide on the floor, generally wood, while wearing fishnets), but when I actually looked at it, it looks like an actual tattoo. Just... Why?

Also I don't remember how it came up, but she told me that she'd had multiple requests to do tattoos with cremated remains and she also turns them down, not only because it's probably against tons of health codes, but because she's just end up wiping most of the ashes off, mixed into the ink, with a paper towel and tossing it in the bin.

She was less model and more a Vegas stripper who needed something to stand out according to an interview I watched with her. Maybe she's moved into modeling since, though why not both? There's videos of her twerking and it's drat hypnotic. Either way I like it :shrug:
