As I pointed out in the other thread, home poker games are legal in most states as long as the house isn't taking part of the pot. Robbing people, on the other hand, is illegal. Even if it is an illegal game, they can always tell the cops that there wasn't a rake.

Bigger games getting robbed is not an uncommon thing. If someone came to my house with guns, stole my money, and sprayed me down with pepper spray, yeah, I'd call the cops during my poker game.
