Speaking of MGR,I wonder if this game is gonna have a surprise Armstrong-like final boss, like the Korra game did. Except, like everything from the Korraverse,he was super lame.

Just played the demo, was pretty great. Banter was a lot better than most games I've played (and if this is apparently Yoko's worst, can't wait to see his best). Boss fight was Only thing that would've made it better for me is if RULES OF NATURE started playing. Long and short of it-I don't pre-order many games, but this will be one of them.

Just started the game,it's pretty good so far. Just wondering-where do I find pyrite? Is it something I find in the desert? I would like to know so I can upgrade BEASTLORD On that note, are there any weapons with a cooler name than BEASTLORD?

Yeah, sometimes the RNG can be rough. I'm trying to grind for stuff to upgrade my weapons with, but they drop nothing 90% of the time,at least for me. And I still can't find a single unit of pyrite.

Bugblatter posted:I guess in answer to my own question from earlier regarding separating the different routes as they do, I'm now guessing it's largely because they play differently. Route A is mostly JRPG with some Platinum Lite action, Route B is heavy on shmup, and Route C is closest to a normal Platinum title. I've probably made it too clear what I think of the execution on the JRPG subquests and shmup hacking, but the concept itself is solid. ntan1 posted:You've clearly hated this game already, while many other people enjoy it. Just stop playing and go post in another thread.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but Yahtzee's review is up...and he's wrong on most fronts, besides the combat. For instance,a lot of the sidequests, while simple, were interesting.

I was wondering-do you ever go back to the Bunker or whatever the space station is called? I kinda missed the self-destruct ending .
