Finally got around to watching episode 2 today. They sure threw all this Russian business in pretty quick, I really don't even know what's going on honestly.

Yeah Solomons seems a lot less verbally graceful or intimidating this season, and a lot drunker. About to watch episode 6 though and I'd imagine he's in this one too, we'll see.
