Rexxed posted:Get faster RAM, the stock speed for that CPU and chipset is DDR4-2666 and 3000 is usually only a few dollars more. DDR4-2400 doesn't make a lot of sense for that build. I thought i clicked on DDR4-3000 must have been one next to it on the list and I clicked the wrong thing. Zero VGS posted:For example, here's a nice 1060 with the transferable EVGA 3-year warranty, for $380. That's a good deal in the current climate and better than a 580: https://www.ebay.com/itm/183082411495 ehhh I am kinda scared of eBay when it comes to computer parts. No real reason I just don't really trust it. I saw this which looks almost the same as that and cheaper: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/TrGj4D/msi-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-6gb-gt-ocv1-video-card-geforce-gtx-1060-6gt-ocv1 Is there any reason to go for 8 gig over 6 or is it overkill for 1080 resolution gaming (I assume overkill)?
