Well not to far from a door team then, I can Teabo in a few days, phasma is there, qgj omegaed, Rey stand in while I get chirpa 2 more stars and elder will be the rough one but still workable in a fairly short window. Plus I have some other tm down guys I might give a swing here and there.

Using nothing but lovely 1 pip mods I made Rey have about 5k more health, +10% crit chance, a boat load of crit damage and since they paired as sets that's on top of the +15% health/prot/def with one set doubling down on the prot. Her basic crit for 14-18k on average.

Fives also using a set of 1 pip wonders has +15% potency/health/prot along with a bunch of damage upgrades that basically doubles his damage. He now cries for 8kish and normals for about 4 and his slow sticks a lot more.

How bad are mods balanced you ask? I made Barris hit for 4k average with 8k crits and a hefty bonus to speed and crit chance. Again all done with lovely 1 pip mods just upgraded to 15.

So odd the rest of the update is so good and then it's wrapped in the giant turd that is mods.

Hot drat watching tab play on kiddie server while I am on the beta/release server is such a amazing difference. My server is a giant flock of whales, he'll half that guild making noise is on my shard. You don't see non whale teams unless your below like 3500 in arena.

Her server, the biggest fish I could see had spent maybe $20 on a chromium pack. All low stars, he'll spot 250somthing is a single jedi consular who is level 25 and like g3 2stars. If mods don't kill this game is may start a alt to see just how much knowing what I know now gives me a advantage.

Quick question ftp rebel teams so Leia, akbar, luke, Biggs, + who? And or is there a better not impossible to grind combo?

They are so massively in damage control mode right now I wonder if they all watched as they made a intern actually play the game. Mods are pretty much going to get a jumbo sized nerf or have it so certain types of toons can only use certain types of mods.

RIP dps Barris, you were to good for this game.

Working on the new jawas and thinking the scavenger is actually pretty good to slot in with the "low tier" scoundrels since he can detonate their detonators. Depending on how low the cool down is on that power it might be feasible to stack detonators on a guy and just have him blow him up in one shot. Also I wish there was one more jawa so I didn't have to slot Mr antidroid in there.

Ok so if everything I have seen on here plus the two accounts I have been testing on(mine and tabs old account before it died). It looks like the absolute break point is about 39k GW team power that breaks the game and throws softballs on node 12. Arena power roughly 6k below you GW team gives a wider spread to the teams you will pull and fucks up their matchmaking resulting in some softball nodes. It appears the best way to deal with their GW matchmaking is by literally breaking it. I will keep working through the testing but it looks like there is some pattern to how to break the matchmaking in your favor.

Just said this in chat but for all our 2.5 Guilds it is good advice.

If you don't have anything you need to get from a request just make a request for low level poo poo. That kind of stuff can be passed about all day without hurting anyone's supply and it let's people get as many ranks of the cheevo faster. Plus low level common gear usually each person can trade 2 at a time.

Don't take me wrong you need something request it. But if you don't need anything help a brother out and make goofy request for poo poo you have hundreds of.

OK so the next hotness I am going to try is that aoe one. 88 (l), Lando, RG, anakin (in pregress) and who? Still stumped on that one.

Counter squad is currently fives, Fost, anakin, dukoo and ? This one's a bit harder due to needing to farm dorkuu, Fost is half way to 6 stars. Fives set. I was thinking of that blue jedi chick, as she counters and procs a assist on her basic. Of course that means a couple of weeks grounding them out and such. I mean I could get worried about falling behind, but honestly I am on the beta/release shard. It's whales-r-us.

Edit yeah counter squad is a bust until later after I have farmed a few more toons for the challenge stuff.

But on to more interesting ideas. Biggs, Geo, 86, Tuskegee raider. All have 2 turn cool downs on the assist. Do you put phasma in as lead to add to more 2-3 people hitting at once or 88 and use the crits to make them go boom.

Yeah that was why the counter team was no go, can't farm fisto and the alternatives are meh at best.

Now I need to dump some time into 88 and see how his omega leader attaches the dot on crit. For example would it attach 2 dots if fives crits on both shots of a slowed target. Could Rey land her massive damage attacks and get a dot for each hit? That kind of thing. If each crit on a multi hit applied the dot it would be kind of easy to abuse Valders Saber throw of doom. Then again even if it doesn't they still might work in a aoe team, especially with Lando resetting his cool down every turn.

I wish this game had a practice table where you could set up matches to try potential teams. Just pull a team of +/-10% of the test teams power and let me see if this is the poo poo or just poo poo.

How bad is biggs? I mean if he is average that might do. He is one of 4 characters with a 2 turn cool downs assist. 86, Geo and Tuscan are the other 4. I just realized I have biggs at 6* for some unknown reason, probably some event or some such. So I could if I farm up the tuskan place them with phasma for extra attack fun.

I am going to repeat do not spend money on this game.

So tab was playing on a guest account and did not know it. She spent some google bucks on the game right before her emu dies. She emails support asks for a refund on the 21 day crystal pack she bought the day before. They tell her the account can not be recovered. So she says fine starts playing on a Google play account. They said they would credit her the crystals and she say ok. Here is where poo poo starts to go wrong. They credit the crystals to the dead guest account. <- this bit somehow means she must be escalated. So they escalate her case dude says ok np done your credited the crystals sorry for the error. Whoops he credited it to the dead account. This loving comedy of errors goes on for 2 WEEKS at the end of which they say hey we got everything fixed. She logs in account looks weird as poo poo and it is in the tutorial. So she gets back with the support guy and he says oh just play through the tutorial and your good. This was Friday night, the loving tutorial breaks at the 2nd or 3rd step. She is also level 80(was 48) has no credits. Back to support... closed. Send a email back to the last guy who :airquote:fixed:airquote: it. Still waiting for them to unfuck this somehow.

So Uhh yeah something nicer to say. My aoe death squad is coming along nicely. I am going to try 88 (l), Lando, ani, Vader and RG. I figure with all that aoe plus crits adding dots I can get some beefy Saber throws. Just need to gear up Vader and get another star on ani and I am ready.

Oh my 88 lead is quite something. I finally got his 80 and omega leader. 2 more packages and he finally get that 7th star. I will be so glad to dump cad bane from my scoundrel team.

Also tabs account is still in limbo awaiting the next specialist to fix things. :toot:

So was there a buff on armor? Because it sure seems like my team does quite a bit less damage. This being most notably that if my droids don't crit the damage is super super low. On the gw side it was the same with Rey putting out substantial amounts less damage on non crits. Even the crit damage is lower she hasn't one shot a equal level character since the patch. Don't get me wrong she still deals absurd amounts of damage just not nearly as much now. I think I have only seen maybe one 25k+ crit since the patch and it was on defense down debuffed opponent.

Now I am kind of trying to figure out if this is some shift that I need to make yet another team or something.

Although Saber throw seems to give no fucks about the increased armor. Dots and detonators also seem to have not really lost any dps, I assume that means they are some weird set of rules on their own.

Nope 7* g9 and he is still not really worth the money and droids I put into him. Depending on what your building for I would go dathcha for the next raid and the mod challenges. If not that then just use the tokens to fill out whatever challenge you need guys for(except cad bane he is garbo).

That would be a very good solution. I have mentioned missing raids before but it does not hugely bother me since I am kind of half assing the game while support continues to play three stooges with tabs account. I would probably be more engaged if GW wasn't a huge chore. I do generate my coins though so I can at least contribute that way and I am all over people gear requests lol.

Edit also don't get cad bane he is really bad like serious bad. You would even be better off with mob enforcer than that waste of a slot. But Lando is and will be your challenge God, his aoe is bonkers and even more so with either Boba or 88 omega leads. His lead is also good.

Having tied before(probably a super rarity) I can say you get the box for whatever placement the tie was in. The other rewards seemed fairly normal as well or at least it did not make enough of a difference that it mattered.

After the next pack I will probably not bother with Dengar so no idea who I am going to grab now. But then again getting those shards was really lucky since I had je and Rey in my shop like everyday.

88 leader, Lando both 7* g9 level 80, 6 star Boba at 74 g8, 6 star greedo at 72 g8, and 5 star Dengar at 67 g8. Dengar and Greedo are both modded for health/defence/protection using all 1 pip maxed mods. Boba is unmodded because :effort:. Lando and 88 have 3 pip level 12 mods 88 for def/health(his life steal makes this better than protection), Lando is modded for crit damage and crit chance, he is currently at 197% crit damage with over 80% crit chance with his passive and 88 lead. All of them got potency when it was avaliable on a mod that also met the criteria for what I was modding that toons for. Greedo got speed when possible.

All the aoe spreads 88's omega leader ability's dots. while buffing 88's damage output and crit chance. Greedo adds another debuffs layer with his detonators. That gives you a extremely hard hitting aoe that is always up on Lando and does 100%(omegaed of course) more damage with his aoe every turn after the first or maybe every other turn(not sure on that part but it hasn't mattered so eh). Whatever manages to live through that gets eaten alive by the dots(these seem % damage based). Lando will always get 2 crits off 3+ opponents so his aoe is always off cool down. Probably a lot more info than you were asking for but I figured I should at least explain because of the way I modded them might be a bit weird.


^^^^ drat well hopefully they get fixed soon. Because the protection and stealth shenanigans were quite fun.

Yeah, but, they should have received a very clear message after mods were released that they needed to do things differently -- as they dropped from top 5 to like 20th in top grossing games in the google store. Complaints came in pretty loud and clear, and I don't understand how they haven't restructured their company already...a drop like that pretty much overnight shouldn't be ignored by those at the top.

Cg has been described to me as the short bus of the Disney umbrella of mobile studios by people from other Disney mobile studios. So I guess I am less surprised at how they inept they are. I have no idea who they have pictures of but seriously after their dragon age game they should have been taken out back and flogged. That game was soooooo loving bad and really lived on the brand name as well.

If you want to figure it out, here is what I know: 139 armor = 18.81%, 85 armor = 12.41%, 275 armor = 21.46%, and 381 armor = 25.88%. Godspeed.

Def mods not having any way to differentiate normal def vs special def until you equip is really obnoxious. Poor nebit almost ended up stacked with special def by accident.

Edit looking at those numbers it looks like diminishing returns with break points. If that is the case it would explain why it scales in such a weird way.

Ok I have 7 star Biggs and landing(I know Biggs). 4 star luke and Akbar. Sth at 3 star and Leia at 2 stars. If I divert from jaws's to rebels what is my best bet for filling out the last three spots? Leia, sth and Akbar are all arena and my rating sucks because I don't want to tryhard on it so I am 2 packs a day there. Help me goons what is a good oath?(also Leia shows up about 1x a week if I am lucky from guild store.)

So it looks like I cantina battle luke up, arena to Akbar and switch cantina to hrs hoping for luck o. His hard modes. Is it soldier or scout that shows uo in guild store?

I think if I just work the 6 stars and hope that is enough I would still be at a min of 3 7* since luke is easy as hell to get. So I get Akbar to six and swap to sth or Leia depending on my luck with guild shipments.
