I assume this would be the thread for it, but as someone who only recently got a smartphone for the first time, I am utterly addicted to Spider-Man Unlimited. It's a surprisingly good game, although the energy system is frustrating sometimes. I justify the massive amount of time I sink into it with the fact that I've not spent any real money on it.

So, there's one thing about this event that I can't figure out (it's my first major one). What's the xp level for? I'm nearly at "level 3" but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Just added some event crates, they cost a scoop or whatever those folders you build in the workshop are, but the prizes are totally worth getting them all. There's a bobble head and a building that doesn't seem to do anything, but the rest is all currency.

Actually getting the Statute of Liberty and other stuff gets you a total of 5 Goblin coins. Opening the Crates get you a load of stuff including up to 10 Goblin coins.

Yes but we don't know if you need all of them or whether there's going to be more than 100 tokens available. The decorations need 3 and then 5 of whatever the crafted items are called, so it's just easier to build them up first before buying boxes. Unless you need some of the box contents to progress, then go ahead and gamble.

I don't know how much the decorations cost, but the first one the Wrestling poster was 2000+ Oscoins and four evidences (and I think 1 evidence turns to 1 Bugle Headline.) So that first of the four decorations was more expensive than four Spider-crates. No maybe I'm wrong, but I see no chance of me getting decorations (that I'm not interested in) and five Goblin Tokens before Wednesday. But I can easily get at least 6 Bugle Headlines which I am willing to bet will give me at least 5 Goblin Tokens. Not to mention the Spider Man tokens I need to get Spidey to level 5 and out of his awful half costume thing.

It's not mentioned in game, but the last warehouse item requires an item that only appears after you get Spidey. So if you're short on time and film rolls, better to go for the crates unless you really want the warehouse prizes.

Of course if you don't have two or three decoration items by now you probably won't get all four, so if you're going for a crate strategy just stick with that.I'm going for the decorations, but that's just because the decorations feel like the intended route to me and the crates just feel like something they added in case people had too many Exclusives. I'm sure we'll both be fine in the long term.

This Spider-Man event is brutal. I unlocked zero decorations and zero crates because resources are incredibly scarce because there is nothing but heroic missions on the board.

Yea, I'm only going to buy Gwen, and that's only if shes a premium character. The only decoration I got was the wrestling one and they're already out of the store. Okay, Spider-Man is using a drone to water ski, that's kind of awesome. And to the Leader "Where did you come from?" and the leader replies "the door was open". Yea, I noticed that. And it's been taking way too long to start chapter 2. Been I think 3 days, I don't know why they dropped the part 1 rewards and didn't add the part 2 right away. Dammit I want Black Cat.

I'm guessing they found some game breaking bug in the upcoming Lizard fights (the black suit says it does more damage against Lizard) and they're having a problem snuffing it out, hence the free Goblin tokens they gave away to appease the masses.

They ended it because the reason for the time limit on episodes is not because they need episode 2/3/4 to start on any specific day, it's to encourage spending money to get it all done in time.

There's no longer any reason to kill an octobot on an item until it's ready to collect.

This event's kind of brutal. I'm still barely half way to unlocking black cat and you need her to get any of the items. That and the fact that you need to go like 3 crafting layers deep to get everything, I don't see how they expect people to do it in a week
