There's a pretty good chance it will result in a government that has to work with minor parties and the senate is guaranteed to be an absolute cluster gently caress

This election might be the start of a crisis of the big two parties that's started to pop up in the US and the UK this year as well, seems a lot of voters aren't really happy with either of the main offerings.

Well it may mean we go back and vote again if either party are poo poo and don't deal to form government. And returning to the polls is hard on the incumbent.

They have 73 and are ahead in 5 in doubt seats. Postal usually break liberal. Quite plausible they get 78 seats.

Needed Windsor to come through, Pyne to lose and the state vic labor not generate some terrible PR I reckon.

AEC has them at 68.

Sure it's not 68 + the 5 in doubt seats they're ahead gets 73?

Going of ABC who are a bit more aggressive about calling than the AEC

They have it at 72-66-5 with the remaining 7 in doubt.

Of those one is batman which is irrelevant for this discussion and then they have libs ahead in 5 of the 6.

Possible Libs don't get all 5 but most likely will get 4 and probably 5.

ABC has called 67-67-5, 11 in doubt, 6 to ALP 5 to Libs. At the moment that is.

Not only that, according to the ABC the AEC said no further counting until Tuesday, so the predictions are going to be insufferable for a few days. Please a hung parliament at least, Turnbull seems too proud to negotiate a minority government.

LNP will probably do better because postal votes break LNP. Expect the margin to move .25% minimum to the LNP and probably more.

But yeah this is wtf close.

LNP and incumbents also usually do better on pre-polling, but that hasn't been born out so far.
