i bought a washable keyboard so i could worry less about spilled snacks at my desk. My favorite snack at the time was white cheddar popcorn which leaves a sticky residue on ones hands. My parents don't use my computer when they come over anymore.

I can't really imagine having a cleaning person come by. Mostly because I'd rather have things a bit messy than someone else touching my stuff.
