graph posted:CS isnt teaching it and theres already been two successful test semesters ah nice, that would be the two semesters ive been gone then  and anything i knew about that faculty meeting was second- or third-hand at best (of course), and i didnt even know that CS isnt teaching it, i was under the impression that they kind of assumed they would be heavily involved after hearing about the announcement so that's a lot better than it seemed, the "wtf" reaction made a little more sense when the CS dept assumed they would be responsible for the new courses and material

rankings of individual departments are generally graduate level, for undergrad you just get one ranking for the whole school

the only reason to go to cs grad school is to put a thin veneer of top 50 respectability over your garbage undergrad from a foreign school that no one has ever heard of. works like a charm tho.
