I used to try to use remote viewing a la "Suspect Zero" because I read a bunch of books on psychic projection. Supposedly the CIA in the 70s did this too, which makes me even more ashamed. Irony really took off after the widespread adoption of the internet, because people had way more access to bad pop culture of the past to mock. Also, good pop culture became more available, and was therefore less valuable. I mean, when we had one store in the city that we could go to and get a Public Enemy cassette, we were still pretty proud of having that access. It is once you can do that easily that you then make a point of listening to Def Leppard.

Weird acid new-age poo poo inspired by electric kool-aid acid test when I was 15 where I got all Dennis leary/merry pranksterish and decided hallucinogens and magical thinking were going to open new insights on life and perception I dressed like a loving retard but at least the drugs were fun and seemed meaningful at the time. Otherwise I probably would've just started drinking and doing heroin or something while being a punk

I thought I was a  -Progressive Conservative because I thought I believed in responsibility with birthcontrol, firearms, and finances but then I talked to actual PC's and quickly realized they were all loving lunatics and thank Christ I got better because for all the talk of leeches and welfare abusers, those people sure like to dictate where the government should spend their money (on them or on their bosses so they can make more money)
